History

The City-Wide Community Gospelfest is a vision from God given to James Glenn years before its beginning. Spiritually and Physically birthed into the natural in the year of 2000. James Glenn with charter members Erica Calbert, Carla Johnson and Denise Broadus made City-Wide Community Gospelfest a reality.

James Glenn envisioned a day that there was no denominational walls separating the people of God. There was no envy and no strife that kept the people of God apart. There was love in our hearts from every man, woman and child. The color of our skin and ones social status did not keep us apart. IT was a day of victory!

Prayerfully watching keeping in mind the concerns of the community and the problems that we face within our communities such as health, education, employment as well as our spiritual lives.

James Glenn thus had it in his heart for Gods people needing to come together and return our hearts back to HIM. City-Wide Community Gospelfest is a outreach Ministry that has touched the hearts of thousands from different nationality, race, gender, religion and backgrounds. A life Ministry of Reconciliation, Prayer, Restoration, Unity, Peace, Love, Joy, and Community Awareness

If my people who are called by name humble themselves, pray, seek, my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land (2 Chronicles 7:14-15).
